A Better Place to Be; First in Flight

2017

In 2017, I was heading north to Canada and enjoyed wonderful weather, and a little rain, in North Carolina. I rode the Tail, Great Smokey Mountains, and around a couple lakes. While there I also met Ken, who let me stay in his guest cabin and took me to my first waterfall I could jump into. What a rush!

2016

While beating tires south in late 2016, I spent some time in the Uwharrie and Croatan National Forests. While it was cold, I had awesome campsites and got to see some nice views. Unfortunately, I took the cold south with me as I went to Florida for the winter.
