Doing my 25 day, 6,000 mile ride in July took me into BC yet again, and this time around I met someone who invited me to their property to camp on my first night in Canada. Leaving there, I was headed to Kootenay again when I realized my back tire was too low on tread, prematurely may I add. So I spent another night in BC at an amazing campsite off of a river to buy a tire the next day, then heading north.
My first time in BC was brief as I headed north to Banff, which lies in Alberta. On my way out, I rode thru Glacier National Park, that was severely on fire, to Osoyoos to cross into Washington while headed to Oregon for the solar eclipse on a bit of a time crunch. After that, I went back up into Vancouver to explore a few places like Stanley Park and to meet a friend for dinner.
